Temple Carrig 2-11 Col Chraobh Abh 1-04

5th May 2017.  Temple Carrig claimed the first year 'A' football crown in Bray Emmets GAA Club on Friday afternoon with a fully deserved victory over Coláiste Chraobh Abhann.  Read report here.


Temple Carrig School is a co-educational,  voluntary day school under the patronage of the Church of Ireland.  The school is faith based, Christian in ethos and responds to the academic, intellectual, cultural and spiritual needs of pupils with a wide range of abilities and interests, while respecting those with differing faith traditions and those with none.

On the 1st  September 2014, it opened its doors, in temporary accommodation, to its first intake of pupils, 132 in number, starting in 1st year.  In August 2015 the school moved to its new school building and welcomed another 132 pupils.

Junior Cup Rugby Well done to Temple Carrig’s Junior Cup Rugby Team who beat Good Counsel College in their First Round match on 11 January 2017 in Gorey, the school’s first rugby cup match. This was follwed by another victory over Scoil Chonglais a week later.

Well done to Temple Carrig’s Girls Basket Ball Teams. 19 January 2017 1st Year and 2nd Year both recorded victories over Rockford Manor.   Great teamwork and support shown by all!

Leinster Schools Fr Godfrey Junior Cup Winners 2017

History made as Temple Carrig claim the Fr Godfrey Cup title at the first attempt, overcoming Wesley COllege 12 points to 10 points in Donnybrook on Thursday, 10 March 2017.  Read match report.

GIRL’S RUGBY TEAM.  2nd May.  

Our visit to Wilsons Hospital was a fantastic occasion and while we lost out, narrowly, in the rugby, the day was a great one. Well done to all of the girls today.

East Leinsters Athletics, Santry

Well done to all our athletes who competed in the East Leinsters Athletics  on the 2nd and 4th May.


Annual Sports Day

19th May.  Sunny day again for sports day where each House got to show there colours and have a great time too. Tinakilly just edged Kilruddery by half a point to win the day.  Well done everybody.


Annual Family Fair 6th of May

Thank you to all the volunteers and families who supported our Annual Family Fair on Saturday the 6th of May. Together we raised almost €10,000 for the school. Thank you to everyone - your time and talents created a tremendous TCG team!



Start of Year Service

Sunday 27th August 2017.  Some familiar faces and some new faces as our new First Years attend the Start of Year Service along with parents and TCG teachers.

11th October 2017 Herzlichen Glückwunsch an 2nd Yr German class who organised their Oktoberfest and raised €170.65 for Tiglin - well done!



TY Delphi

1st Years in FerryCarrig Heritage Park

24th October 2017. 1st Years celebrated history week with a journey to FerryCarrig Heritage Park an outdoor museum depicting 9000 years of re-created Irish History

Boys Minor Football

25th September 2017 TCG’s Boys Minors football team beat Woodbrook College 6-3 on the all weather pitch at Woodlands. Well done to both teams, great match



Girls Basketball

29th September 2017  Well done to TCG Girls Basketball team who beat St Conleths College Dublin 34-4 at UCD Sports Centre.

Girl’s Minor Hockey Cup

8 November 2017 Girls Minor As played a very close contest with a good Loreto Beaufort side in the Minor Cup drawing 0:0 but just missing out when the tie was decided by penalties.
