Last night, Temple Carrig held our very first Open Night! We welcomed the 6th Class students of the community through the doors to see what life is like in TCG. The atmosphere throughout the building was incredible and our student ambassadors did Trojan work all evening, representing the school so brilliantly. A huge thank you to them and the staff for their hard work on the night and in the weeks running up to it!

On 23 September 5 students travelled to Croke Park to take part in the next phase of the NCCA Senior Cycle Pathways Project. Temple Carrig is one of 14 network schools that is helping to shape the new way that students across Ireland could complete their Leaving Certificates. It was fantastic to see the commitment of students in TCG, helping to shape the future of Irish education.

Our student leaders, Emily, Alfie, Samarah and Nathan welcome 6th Class students and their families to our Open Night next Tuesday, September 29th. See what they have to say about what it's like to be a Temple Carrig student and everything on offer to our students.

The Harbour Staff bought our SNAs flowers as a small thank you for everything they do this SNA Appreciation Day.

We had a busy day of hockey yesterday, with 4 of our teams playing matches. Here are the results from the day:

Junior 4 v Loreto Dalkey - League
Won 2-1 (Goals: Aoibhinn McGuire, Jocelyn Brown)

Senior 3 v Wesley College - League
Lost 4-3 (Goals: Cloe Ickiewicz, Laura McHugh x2)

Junior 3 v St.Andrews College - League
Lost 1-0

Ahead of choosing their option subjects, 1 Altidore were hard at work in their Spanish taster module this week, finding out which of their classmates knew the most about Spain, Spanish culture and the language.
